Randy, Randy, Randy ... Oh, what an excitable little boy!  “Take me to the zoo!”, he says. 

Better put on your running shoes because keeping up with Randy at the zoo is a challenge.  He’s off to find the hippos!  Dashing through the throngs of people, darting around their knees, he’s on a single-focused mission. 

“Hippos!!!”  He has found them!  Pressing his face up to the fence, he smiles.  For Randy, this is a perfect day.  He watches them nibble fresh vegetables and lazily swish their tails.  “What tiny ears they have”, he says as he watches them twitching back and forth.  Just then one of the big grey hippos raises its head and looks straight at Randy.  He laughs out loud and jumps up and down.  “He remembers me!” he said.  After long minutes of watching these big grey animals, he’s finally ready to see the other parts of the zoo.  The elephants are next, then the giraffes.  After burning off some energy, Randy is calm for the rest of the visit, enjoying each animal as he walks from one to the next. 

It’s late when Randy gets back home. Tired but happy, he slips into his hippo pajamas and shuffles off to bed, where he will (no doubt!) dream of hippos.
